Making the environment beautiful is how we add value to the community. Enhancing the beauty of the community is a NATURAL EXTENSION of who we are as part of the community. We believe we have an obligation to use our talents and resources to enhance Nantucket. This is why we are so active in organizations and projects on our Island. Our goal as an organization for 2008 is to collectively plant 500 trees and voluneteer 300 hours in our community.

Current causes that we volunteer our time for:


	Our commitment to plant 500 trees on Nantucket in 2008
	Our continuing commitment to donate 1000 daffodil bulbs and labor to plant them to a local charity to auction each year
	Nantucket Cottage Hospital Volunteer Coordinator for the Boston Pops Event. We help raise over 1 Million Dollars for the Cottage Hospital every year.
	Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Member of the Board of Advisers & Active Volunteer
	Nantucket Clean Team Active Volunteer We keep Nantucket Beautiful and Litter Free
	Nantucket Garden Club Volunteer
	Platte River Basin Environments We have raised money through private donations and government grants to purchase thousands of acres of magnificent land in the Midwest for the public to use and to preserve it for future generations to enjoy.
